Andy Warhol inspired pop art

Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol was an American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertisement that flourished by the 1960s.

Sketches

Inspired by Andy Warhol's pop art I'm going to paint my camera on 4 canvases with different tones. The work will be done in my art workshops. The task I've been given was to choose an object that has a meaning to me and then using any artists techniques create a final piece of work.

The final piece of work will be done no later than 22nd December

WORK WORK WORK

Unfinished piece. There's going to be a half embroidered and half colored collar
Newest pieces of work done in my sketchbook for the assignment brief. I had to choose any object I like and then represent it in a different variety of techniques (from collages to paintings and so on). I've chosen a sculpture of elephant and then done two collages.

Don't forget to leave me a feedback.
Thank you!

BTEC ART & DESIGN LEVEL 3

My latest work

Today I've been given a Study Skills Guide book for my course, so my goal is to read it all as fast as I can in order to understand what I'm doing, how could I improve and so on. Above you can also see some information taken from inside the book with an explanation what I'm going to do in my art & design course, so maybe some of you will be interested.

So far all I can say - art & design course might seem an easy thing to do, but trust me, it requires a lot of time, patient and hard work as you get a new/different brief every 2 months and before the deadline you have to fill the whole sketchbook (A4 or A3 size) or it could have less work as long as you do all tasks given. All work has to be annotated and the more experimentation u do - the better.

If you got any questions - feel free to ask me.
